[U Using the Zoom

You can use the (OS Wide/[#]Tele zoom button to

change the size of your subject.

IMtl Wide-angle (24 mm)

Use this setting for large-

scale images such as

scenery and group pictures

Telephoto (65 mm)

Use this setting for pictures

where you want to zoom in

on your subject, such as

portraits.

Press the (Mil Wide/ TAT Tele

zoom button.

• Pressing zooms in on your

subject while pressing Qm]

zooms out for a wide-angle shot.

O Take care not to obstruct the lens with your hands.

* When you switch the camera on, the lens is initially

set to wide-angle (24 mm).

• If the camera is left unused for approximately 4

minutes with the lens extended to the telephoto

position, the lens automatically retracts to the wide-

angle position as a protective measure
