32 Replacing an Ink Tank

Replacing an Ink Tank

When ink tanks run out of ink, replace them using the following steps.

1 Open the Paper Output Tray.

2 Make sure that the machine is turned on, and

raise the Scanning Unit (Printer Cover) until it

stops.

3 Open the Inner Cover.

4 Push the tab of the ink tank whose lamp is

flashing fast (A) and remove it.

Do not touch the Print Head Lock Lever (B).

Caution

If the Document Cover is opened, you cannot open the

Scanner Unit (Printer Cover). Be sure to open the

Scanner Unit (Printer Cover) and the Document Cover

at the same time.
