How to delete a Video Clip in Canon FS11

Step 1: First set dial to play video mode

Step 2: Select the video clip that you want to delete by using joystick and press FUNC key located at the

LCD panel.

Step 3: When you press FUNC key, you will see five different options at the bottom of the LCD screen.

Step 4: Among the five different options, you have to select using joystick and press Set

button located at the center of the joystick.

Step 5: It will prompt you to delete either one scene or all the scenes, so select one scene option to delete

only the video clip that you have selected to delete. After that select Yes option using joystick and the

video clip will be erased from the camera.

Downloading Video clips to a computer

Step1: Connect the camera to the computer using the USB cable. Important Note: You should also

connect the power supply DC/ IN to the camera.

Step 2: Set the camera to Video play mode

and turn on the power.

Step 3: Windows XP operating system will automatically detect the camera and install the necessary

drivers for it.

Note: In some case, the camera will prompt you to select either DVD burner or PC Connect option

before it connects to the computer. If it appears in your camera than you have to select PC connect.

Step 4: Double click on My Computer

icon on the desktop. You will now be able to see the camera as a

part of Cameras and Scanners

attached to the computer.
