Memory Card Operation

Editing
The tape stops during
playback pause.
When playback pause continues for more than 4 minutes 30
seconds during playback or audio dubbing, the camcorder
shuts off to protect tape and video heads. Playback the tape
again and press the / pause button.

Memory card cannot be
inserted.
Memory card was not facing the correct direction. Turn the
memory card over and reinsert it.

Insert a memory card.

The printer is not operating
even though camcorder and
printer are correctly
connected.
1. Set the camcorder to CARD PLAY mode.
2. Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable.
3. Turn off the printer and turn it back on.

Dubbing via the camcorder’s
DV terminal does not work.
Set [AV DV/ ] (MVX45i) or [AV DV] (MVX40i) to [OFF].

Wrong signal format. Dubbing may work via the AV terminal.
