REQUIRED FOR A SUCCESSFUL REFILL:

 Toner

 Replacement Chip

 1 Funnel Cap

 1 Small Flat Head Screwdriver

General Relling Procedures:

1. Please refer to the picture on the right.

2. Expose the toner hopper by usingn the at head scredriver to press down on the tabs to

release the cartridge door.

3. Slide the cartridge door to the left (depending on the orientation of the cartridge, you

may have to slide it to the right. These instructions are being based on the pictures we

provide to the right).

4. Once opened, dispose of any toner in the cartridge before relling,This Is Very Im-

portant.

5. Before opening the toner bottle, shake thoroughly to loosen any clumps.

6. Once the bottle has been shaken, replace the cap with the funnel cap provided.

7. Pour the entire contents of the bottle into the Toner Hopper. If the funnel is too large

to t in the relling hole, use a plain sheet of paper to create a smaller funnel that will

help guide the toner into the cartridge.

8. Once relled, slide the door closed. If the door happens to lock, not allowing you to

close it, open it further as shown in picture C. This will release the locking pin, and

allow you to close the door freely.

9. Place the cartridge back into your printer and run a test page.

10. Your cartridge is now ready for use.

Replacing the Chip

To replace the chip, you will need a small at head screw-

driver. The purpose of the screwdriver is to push in the small

tab that’s located on one end of the chip compartment. With

it pressed down, the compartment unlocks and seperates itself

from the rest of the cartridge. This allows you to look in the

compartment to remove the chip.

Before removing the chip however, you will see a small

spring that blocks you from reaching it. With the at head

screwdriver, carefully remove the spring. Then remove the

chip, and replace it with the new one. Once this is done, do

the steps you took before changing the chip in reverse and

place the compartment back onto the cartridge.
