IPP Connection Methods

 Windows Me, Windows 98, Windows 95 IPP Connection

Install the IPP Client software provided by Microsoft for Windows Me,

Windows 98, or Windows 95 and re-start the computer.

Install the printer driver. (Æ Setup Guide)

When the printer connection screen opens, click Local Printer.

The port used by the printer changes after installation, so select LPT1 or any

desired port.

Open the Printer Properties dialog box.

 On the desktop, click the Start button, point to settings, then

click Printers.

 Click the icon of the printer to use, then from the File menu

select Properties.

Perform the port settings.

 Click the Details tab.
