The [Conﬁrm ID/Password] dialog box opens only if [Conﬁrm ID/Password when

Sending Fax] is selected in the [ID/Password Settings] dialog box. Otherwise, the

document is printed under the previously speciﬁed ID and password.

You can leave [Password] blank.

Faxing with Job Accounting (for Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP)

The procedure for faxing with Job Accounting differs depending on whether [Allow

Password Setting] is selected in the [Device Settings] sheet.

With [Allow Password Setting] Selected

The password for Job Accounting can be speciﬁed in advance in the [ID/Password

Settings] dialog box.

In the application, select [Print], and then click the

[Properties] button in the [Print] dialog box.

Specify the various settings in the [Properties] dialog box.

Click the [OK] button to close the [Properties] dialog box, and

then click the [OK] button in the [Print] dialog box.

The document is faxed under the speciﬁed ID and password.

With [Allow Password Setting] Not Selected

The password for Job Accounting cannot be speciﬁed in the [ID/Password Settings]

dialog box.

In the application, select [Print], and then click the

[Properties] button in the [Print] dialog box.

Specify the various settings in the [Properties] dialog box.

Click the [OK] button to close the [Properties] dialog box, and

then click the [OK] button in the [Print] dialog box.
